Library Services

||
Wyre Forest District Council does not have direct responsibility for the provision of library services in this area.

Worcestershire County Council provides library services for this area and its website enables online access to information on all aspects of that service.

Library services contribute to the life of the community by providing books, spoken word cassettes, CDs, videos, DVDs, computerised information and Internet services, for personal, cultural and educational development, lifelong learning, entertainment and recreation.

There are 23 libraries and 5 mobile libraries covering the whole of Worcestershire. Libraries vary in size from large buildings on several floors to small part-time libraries. Mobile Libraries also go out to rural areas that do not have their own library.
