Housed in a historic and unusual 18th century butchers shambles, this unique museum illustrates the growth and trades of the town as well as the crafts of the surrounding Wyre Forest area through fascinating indoor and outdoor displays.
Indoor and Outdoor Displays
Traditional crafts are brought to life through daily demonstrations. See a clay pipe or rope being made - and if you are feeling energetic lend a hand! Clay pipe making demonstrations are held throughout the day. Rope making demonstrations: 11.30am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm daily. |
